"Location was amazing with some of the best views of Matera. One can just enjoy from the comfort of the room in the private balcony or with just windows open. While we had to carry the luggage down to the property, proper research would have suggested the public transport that we could have been used to minimize the hassle. Breakfast here was excellent with so many choices, including some fresh food. Their offer to store luggage after checkout is a good option to avail."

"Locorotondo is an extremely beautiful town and these accommodations are equally beautiful. Very helpful and courteous staff. Room was large and we'll equipped. Location was right in the center of the Centro Storico with terrific views. While staying here you feel like you are part of the community. The only thing I would address is that my shower didn't have a shelf to hold shampoo/soap/etc. I had to put my things on the floor of the shower. "Spent 2 nights here as part of a southern Italy tour. Public areas of the hotel are smart and welcoming. The reception and breakfast staff were all lovely and helpful. "The hotel was conveniently located for the purpose of our trip (we came for a wedding), the food at the hotel was very nice and so was the pool. However, the hotel was packed with families and quite noisy. I think it is a great place for families, but perhaps not if you want to go as a couple and have a relaxing time."

"Wonderful place. Super friendly on arrival and made sure we had a place to park. Great recommendations on what to do in Taranto. They made everything easy. Room was beautiful and comfortable, the terrace was lovely. Breakfast was also great. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. Taranto is a fascinating city. "If you’re looking to stay in the heart of the Historic Center, this is your place. Be prepared to walk over rocky roads and go up and down the road stairs, which is not bad if you want to exercise a little bit while vacationing. Room was a little too small for my taste but very clean and comfortable. View from my room window was incredible! Hotel doesn’t offer parking (paid or free). You need to find a paid parking spot on the nearby streets (around $10 Euros for 10 hours). Breakfast was good."

"This is a basic beach hotel in Canne Torre and as we were visiting out of season (end May) and season starts in June..when we checked in the hotel and the resort were like a ghost town! Things were just about ok until about 100 school kids checked into the hotel and with rooms on our floor we had a nightmare of a night and very little sleep. "Fantastic location in the middle of the Sassi!! Cannot beat the views from the various suites! Taxis are also able to drive right up to the hotel, which made for a very convenient pick up and drop off. And the breakfast! WOW! One of the best we have had in Europe in terms the wide variety of local selection and service. The room was quite large and cozy for a cave. It was a little damp/stuffy, plus the floor had small ants all over the place, but can't really complain about that given you are staying in a cave. As this is also a spa, I was expecting a little better amenities in terms of body wash, hair wash, etc. They do provide slippers though which was amazing on the stone floors. We only stayed one night, so did not get a chance to check out the spa but would have loved to. Would highly recommend staying here!"
