"This hotel is amazing. The architecture and the decor are stunning, like nothing I have seen before. The service is exceptional from the moment you arrive until you leave. We did not go to the restaurants, but we did have a delicious ice-cream at the Gelati. Three things to look into, the WiFi is not very strong, the beach/pool towels are old and fraying and there was no hair conditioner in the bathroom. I must say that after asking the very helpful receptionist for some conditioner, 3 little plastic bottles were delivered to the room. Having said that i can’t wait to come back, this hotel is just wonderful "

"We stayed in Le Grotte della Civita #8 It was incredible! It truly is a cultural, restoration project. The caves are cozy, well lit, candles, soaking tub (I miss). Their afternoon Aperitivo is lovely. The breakfast is phenomenal. The staff goes above & beyond to assist you. Definitely recommend parking at their recommended parking area (they will come & collect you & your luggage). Thank you Sara, Paolo, Brunella Emilia, Pasquale. They will assist you with tours, actives as well "

"Very comfortable modern hotel in great location close to all the attractions. I had a message from reception the week before explaining me all the details and parking options. Really appreciate it as Matera is pedestrian city. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We has a standard , but there were enough place for everything. Hotel has only 17 rooms , so it very quiet and personal. Great selection with local producers or cheese and yogurts on the breakfast. It was delicious! Thank you for our lovely stay ! We would like to come back. "
