"The staff was fabulous; both helpful and kind. We were unaware that caves are humid, which was our naivete. Breakfast was ample. Our cave was large and had lots of places to sit comfortably, inside and out. The only reason the stay was not 100% excellent was the humidity inside the cave despite running dehumidifiers and air conditioning. Having a sweet dog on premises was a bonus!"

"Anna the owner of the property was a sweetheart. She was excellent with communication and answering any questions you had. She made great suggestions to places to eat. Her place was immaculately clean. Nothing was missing. It’s in the heart of town but distant enough to not hear too much noise at night. Comfortable beds and a cozy feel in the apartment. Locorotondo is definitely my top places I have visited in Italy. Quaint, historic and very friendly people. Would definitely go back. Thank you...

"Perfect position, in a very upmarket street within a few minutes walk of lots of fabulous restaurants. Two minutes walk to beach. One of the most beautiful historic towns we have ever stayed in and we have traveled Italy quite extensively, I think it is less touristy than some of its neighbours and oozes charm. "This is a really great apartment, well-presented, modern and very spacious. It’s very well-equipped and is in a quiet residential area, yet very convenient to town. There is a large balcony which is lovely to sit on with breakfast or an evening drink. The host is very responsive and any issues were dealt with immediately. Highly recommended."

"We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was light and airy, very clean and fresh. It was a pleasant and much needed change after staying in ‘cave’ style places in Lecce and Ostuni. The kitchen was well equipped, in a great location for supermarket and Pasquale’s pasticceria. The communication with Antonella was a big plus- she contacted us beforehand with needed details and ensured we had a great stay. She even asked if we needed blankets when the weather turned cooler. What a gem ;)...

"The property I stayed in, " a sea view apartment", No 11, looked directly over the new larger harbour of Monopoli and was adjacent to the castle tower. . The Xmas and New year decorations were still up and the whole area seemed to be decorated in the "old historic centre". Breakfast was very good. Fantastic hotel right in the centre

"What a fantastic hotel right in the centre of matera. The rooms were wonderful and the staff very helpful. A word to drivers getting tit he hotel can be a little stressful as the roads are very narrow and confusing. The restricted zone signage is the worst but ignore it as the hotel sorts the issue out with local police. "

"Quaint little hotel within the beautiful town of Matera with original features. A perfect little, ancient Italian town and we fell in love with the cobble streets, winding paths and amazing views. Bring trainers and wear comfy clothing as you will do a lot of walking to take in all the sites "

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the beautiful rooms, the stunning spa, the delicious and generous breakfast, and the spectacular surrounds. We felt totally spoilt for our stay. We parked about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, in a parking building (€1 per hour), which was handy enough to the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"We didn’t get the bottle of wine and we forgot to ask for it. However, the hotel, the room and location was stunning. Specially the people who work at the hotel, they were wonderful! All of them were kind and friendly. We even met the owner whom was very kind and attentive to all our needs. I’d come back for next time. Kudos to Giuseppe for his time and recommendations!"

"This property deserves a big thumbs up. Cave rooms were very well designed with a lot of attention to detail (lights, candles, custom shower gels). Breakfast was one of the best I had recently with a lot of local cheese and fruits instead of banal buffet items. Ricotta was simply amazing. Staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again. The only recommendation I would give is that since each room is unique I would put each room and its images separately instead of room category. "
