Breakfast was fantastic and they arranged a to-go breakfast bag on our last morning as we had to leave early - we didn't need to remind them, they remembered and had them ready at our check-out (5am!) which was great. Room was impeccably clean, bed super comfy, very quiet - no road noise, very cosy and liked that we could adjust the room temperature to suit us. Also really appreciated that...

Strangely there was a coffee pod machine (and some pods supplied) but there was no milk or tea bags in the room. Since we did late check-in, our rooms pincode was left on a card on the door frame as were other rooms', so anyone inside could just note the access codes and access these rooms. Kinda scary. "A unique hotel with bedrooms and outdoor hot tub facing north so you can watch the northern lights from the hotel. At the edge of town with resteraunt and bedroom view over river and smoking hills from the local hot springs. The breakfast was amazing and staff helpful. We dined in the resteraunt a few times during our stay. The food is amazing but a little pricey. Much like all icelandic resteraunts. Some beautiful walks around the area. Would definately stay here again. "
