"A very nice place to stay and relax. The staff were superb, food excellent and the rooms a very high standard indeed. Evening meal started with canapes in the drawing room, followed by a fixed price meal in the dinning room. Everything about this hotel shouts luxury in a lovely relaxed way. The Spa is well equipped with decent sized pool, steam room and outside tub. Situated a minutes walk away from the hotel. Fishing available on the lake."

"It is just the kind of inn we imagined for our stay in Wales. They serve good food and drinks, have a good mix of friendly local and is very clean. Unfortunately the ceilings are too low for me in much of the inn, including parts of our second floor room. I am 6’ 6" so it might not bother others. All in all, I like the place giving it extra points for charm and atmosphere. "

"We had an absolutely lovely weekend staying at The Royal Oak. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The scenery was breathtaking and we had a lovely view from our room. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. This is a traditional pub, very cosy and again nicely decorated but retaining its traditional charm. The landlord and landlady were extremely helpful. Above all, this is dog friendly accommodation, a must for us. We would definitely stay here again. "
