"Haven’t stayed here for a while and booked last minute . Very nice rooms , very clean , everything you need . Choice of tea coffee hot chocolate and bottled water to drink with a pack of biscuits . Bed very comfy , bathroom very modern . Well worth the money we paid . Had a drink in the bar before we went out for tea and again when we got back . Great service . We didn’t stay for breakfast this time so can’t comment on that . "

"The property was not only located in the most convenient location imaginable (I was working in the castle, which is literally just across the road!), but the hotel is very nice in itself. "I was due to stay one night but as a result of train cancellations extended for a further two nights. The location of the hotel is great, easy access to the promenade, high street and railway station. It's clear there are improvements underway to the accommodation and communal areas. The room I stayed in was basic, the bathroom dated, but clean. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Overall, excellent value for money."

"On arrival we were given the wrong room. I walked in to be welcomed by a naked man. I had my 2 young girls with me. It then took another 30mins to get us another room. The kitchen was clean but the floors and underneath the beds were filthy the bedroom light didnt work the curtain was broken and the toliet leak we were told someone would come to fix them the next day no one came.
