"This hotel is in a good location right across the street from CopaCabana beach. There didn't seem to be much shopping nearby but there were some pretty good restaurants very close. You will need to take an Uber or taxi to get most places unless you have a tour pick you up. The hotel is older and shows it without much in the way of upgraded rooms. "You can walk about two minutes and be at a little supermarket. But warning there are homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk. I did feel safe at night going for a beer and something to eat on the beach almost in front of the hotel. The staff is amazing"

"Fabulous hotel with rooftop pool. I would have given it an excellent score but for a couple of little things. The staff were really lovely, helpful and friendly. The little things that niggled were: no tea and coffee making facilities in room, no drawers to put anything in. No means of drying items. Upstairs there are 6 sunloungers but you can’t use umbrellas over them. And last was the layout of the breakfast area, when it’s busy it’s a bit of a claustrophobic nightmare "

"I really enjoyed my one-week stay at Aquarele do Leme. The staff is great: super helpful and friendly. Even the owner, Thibault, is very nice and accessible. The terrace is the best. I enjoyed my coffee up there every morning. The breakfast included eggs, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers and assorted fruits, plus all of the normal stuff. "Lennon and the rest of the staff were great. The hostel is in Leme, close to Copocabana, but has some limited transportation. The hostel itself was well maintained, and the other guests were enjoyable to spend time with. Overall I recommend this Hostel"
