"Let’s start with the positive, the view to the lake and mountain was spectacular. Room was spacious and were able to make our meals in the room. Though situated on the main road, couldn’t hear the cars. Could update shower head. Fix the dripping toilet. The constant slamming noise of the fire doors at all hours was frustrating. Don’t think it’s suitable for families with young kids. No outdoor activities at the property. The carpark at the top, by the hedge needs a barrier against the front...

"The room we had was nice and furnished well. They charge per person in the room and our 3 year old is considered an adult. There is a shuttle service to town which is nice. It fills up fast so book ahead. A brewery is close by and on a scenic river. The NZ police decided to setup a check point on the road out front just past the park.
