"We had a warm welcome and breakfast was great. We stayed in a family room - queen and double sofa bed. Whilst this was fine for our kids (8 and 11) to share, you might find it a squeeze for older children. Not a criticism just something to bear in mind! "

Only criticism would be the bathroom where you have a shower, toilet and sink in the same small room making everything wet when you shower including the toilet paper. "A great stay. It’s a lovely hotel - very friendly staff and excellent service. We had a standard double and it could have been updated, but overall was clean and large with all facilities you would expect. Quite cold as wall heater not adequate for size of room. Bring warm pyjamas. Bar also chilly, but very pleasant to sit and have a drink. We had a family get together at the festive Sunday lunch and it was excellent. "A great place to stay for anywhere near to the m40 around junction 15. Stratford Upon Avon is only a 15 minute drive away and Bicester Shopping Village is around 40 mins drive away. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. We had a minor problem trying to pay for the car parking, as it was a self service machine, which didn’t quite work like, how it was explained to us. but the Reception staff were keen to help us and got it sorted out. "The only thing i struggled with was the creaky floorboards outside and my room, and also what sounded like above me. Apart from that i felt like home from home almost. Very helpful and friendly staff helping me out from the moment i droppd my bags and case accidently when i arrived and the lady on reception came straight out to help me. A lovely stay and i will come back. "
