"We loved our stay. Everything was wonderful from the view to the accommodations. The staff is AMAZING! Vanessa was our favorite as we spent the most time with her. We loved our personalized notes each night as well. The only negative is that the huge balcony only had a small sofa type bench to utilize. Would have loved to have a small table and chairs with a couple lounges. "

"I stayed five nights at Nirvana in mid-April. It’s a great place to stay in Placencia. It’s centrally located in the village and is an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the dock from which many excursions depart. I had a first-floor unit with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and very nice porch. The beach is right outside the front door of the unit. There is a light breakfast on the roof each morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m already thinking about staying...

"Can't say enough good things about Alux! My friend and I visited Placencia for our Birthdays and were originally booked at other accomadations. We left the other place after one night and found Alux. What a gem! It is in the heart of the village. Everything is walkable, with lots of options for food, shopping and fun. "Great communication with the owners. The property is much nicer and larger than it appears in the photos. The pool is also much nicer than it appears in the photos. The location is very central and I would highly recommend. We stayed here towards the end of a two week trip to Belize and it was nice to have a full kitchen to cook some meals after eating out so often"

"What an amazing property. This little island (about 1 acre in size) is absolutely beautiful. The boat ride from Placencia was definitely farther than a 10 minutes....more like a 40-45 minute trip as the island is approx 20 miles in the middle of the ocean. The staff is one of a kind..... "Our stay at Maya Beach Hotel was fantastic. The staff were wonderful. They were exceptionaly friendly, responsive, and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bistro has some of the best food around and their staff are quick, responsive, and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. You won't find a place that treats you better. "
