"Great accommodation on a budget. Ideal location being just a short stroll into town. Only gripe was the metal bed frame which had loose screws and made a racket when turning over in bed. Fortunately had a multi tool to tighten them for the second night. Would definitely stay again"

"I found the Old Oak Tree team to be very welcoming. The room size was fantastic as was the breakfast. The pub does evening meals and has a great choice of dishes to suit all palates. Whilst booking a table is definitely recommended as the venue is very popular both locally and further afield for their dishes. I can highly recommend the Old Oak Tree, I will certainly be staying there again. The Old Oak Tree is in the perfect location for exploring North Yorkshire. "

"Fabulous stay at The White Swan Inn for two nights. Lovely area and only 30 minutes from Whitby along the most amazing road. Hotel was everything we had hoped for, friendly, cozy, great restaurant, bar and atmosphere. Lovely fires welcomed you back after a chilly day. Room was comfortable, clean and lots of tea and coffee and water available. Breakfast was amazing too. Lovely team"
