"Absolutely wonderful customer service -- everyone working at Mitre House was warm, helpful, and super responsive. The rooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is not modern, but it's charming in its way (the photos on the site are accurate). We paid a premium due to the holiday but the normal pricing is well worth the stay."

"Check-in was efficient and welcoming. George was on reception and a really lovely guy, polite and courteous. Our room was a small twin room on the 3rd floor (there was a lift). Compact bathroom with shower and toilet. Kettle, hair dryer provided with sachets of tea and coffee. Flat screen TV with Freeview. Simple, clean, compact room, perfect to use as a base. 5 minute walk to Kings Cross and lovely pubs minutes away. Camden Market is a 35min walk. Will definitely stay again when back in London....

"We have stayed at the Corus the same weekend for the last 5 years. The service has always been good but the hotel is looking very tired once you move away from the reception area. We had a message to say that the hotel was closing the day we left for work to be carried out but it didn't say what the work would be. Hopefully it will be a refit. The breakfast this year was a let down. Not as much choice as usuall but we put this down to the closure. We use this hotel as we attend the Albert Hall...
