"i thought this was an excellent hotel for our stay. the staff was very welcoming and helpful. their pleasant manner and meeting my needs and expectations. the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained, loved the free parking and the breakfast had a wide range of options that got the day off to a great start every morning. room rates were very reasonable and provided great value for the money. highly recommend this hotel!"

"We got in at 1:30am and we were so happy to be greeted by a welcoming member of the hotel staff. The hotel was the perfect place to get started on our Iceland adventure. The bed was super comfortable and the location very convenient."

"Great location, helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and well maintained property and all around good choice. All our family were pleased with our stay. The only minor negative is that the apartment we had was way too hot with no way to turn down the temperature. We also had to go outside to get back into the breakfast area. Minor points though."

"It was what was expected of a hostel type room. The property was a bit outdated and rooms were a bit stuffy temperature wise, but staff did try to make our stay comfortable. Washer and dryer machines were iffy, but the detergent was included at least. We came during the winter, during their off peak season, and they were in the middle of renovations, so I cant fault them for that. Overall it met our needs."

"This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "

"Very clean and spacious room, even though I booked a single room. Bathroom was lovely, lovely shower, and local Icelandic shower gel which smells incredible! Great coffee/tea machine that you can help yourself to 24/7, great for those times when you need to be awake at 2am for an Aurora run. Lovely views of Laugarvatn lake and beautiful mountains on the other side. Great location in the golden circle close to Friðheimar tomato farm, Þingvellir national park, Geysir and Brúarfoss to name a few....
