"The property is a real gem! Overall the place is super clean, modern and tastefully decorated! The rooms may be compact however there was space under the bed (we were in a movie hub) for storage of cases, and adequate space for sleeping and getting changed! The bathroom facilities were always clean, towels available whenever needed from the city guide. Hot tub is an added bonus and perfect for chilling! The location was the best feature in our opinion, one street over from the Main Street full of restaurants and bars, within walking distance to most of what the city has to offer! We had a hire car and a few streets over was parking zone P3 which is extremely reasonably priced and free on weekends! Highly recommend! "

"A couple of salient points to add to my review from last week: the room was warm but not as oppressively so. The bed was soft but not as ridiculously so. Overall the stay was therefore more comfortable. I discovered that the hotel can be accessed from both front and back by an alley which runs beneath a glass fronted staircase linking two parts of the hotel. From Grettisgata, where you can park on street, you are looking for an area of disabled parking set back from the street with steps down to the alley, which is covered by a glass fronted strip of building. Parking on street here is limited to 3 hour sections and is not charged 9pm-9am (10am at weekends). This time I was offered coffee or hot water for tea at breakfast. This filter coffee was part of the free breakfast, but cappuccino etc. was chargeable. "

"The hotel staff are very friendly and attend to guests needs quickly. The food is excellent and the chef produced excellent evening meals. Rooms are big and the bathroom had both bath and shower so you could soak out the cold after a day out. Hotel is just outside city centre but public transport is easy to use."
