"Wonderful stay in the heart of Valmorel village with everything you need on doorstep and very easy access to slopes. Highly recommended! But don’t expect 5 star facilities! Fantastic location, more than helpful staff, cosy room! We can’t wait to return!"

Nice restaurant with local food - large open fire, local free ski shuttle right outside the door (daily operating - except saturday - with hourly up and down trips) I rented a locker at Montalbert Intersport where I hired skis - Longefoy (pron.“Longshfoi”) is a steep but short walk 35 mins up 25 down to Montalbert base so you dint necessarily need to rely on the bus. "Where do I begin??? This is NOT a hotel. It should be rated as an upper-end HOSTEL. Pay for the Television power cord to use the TV??? Really??? The staff is very friendly and the town of Hauteluce is nice, though more than 10 minutes from Les Saisies. Cheap & tired beds, no oven, NO comfortable chairs, very poor internet and expensive. The covered parking is nice, but also costs. We did NOT pay hostel prices, but received hostel lodging. If you're looking for a Hotel, this is not for you."

"I chose the Hôtel Les Grillons based on nothing more than a quick web search and ratings. Always risky but it seemed like a good bet. I couldn't have been happier. The room was very nice, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and the food?!!! Wow, reason enough to stay there. I can't wait to go back again and soon."
