"De l’extérieur, l’hôtel déçoit par son apparence, qui ne reflète pas les attentes d’un établissement 5 étoiles. Heureusement, le personnel est globalement agréable et serviable. Le véritable point fort réside dans la beauté et le confort des chambres, qui sont impeccables. En revanche, le spa est une déception : petit, avec un accès limité à une heure par jour, ce qui semble insuffisant compte tenu du prix du séjour. La piscine, quant à elle, est trop chlorée, ce qui peut être inconfortable...

"Great hotel to stay while in Annecy. Walking distance to the old town and the lake. The room was very clean and comfortable - though the bed was much too hard for us. The hotel is very modern with modern decor. Breakfast was good in the restaurant overlooking the lake. We had a really great stay at Le Pelican hotel. "

"This property is well located. The reception area is very welcoming and cosy. The room is a good size with sufficient room for luggage. We love the breakfast, not elaborate but plenty adequate. We love the staff. Very helpful, always with a smile. Glad we found this place. "

"From what I remember, this hotel is brand new and you can tell! Overall nice clean rooms. I would recommend driving to and from, with this place as your starting point to wherever you are going. Can be confusing to find at times but thats everywhere in the city! Also very close and walkable to E. leclerc, a supermarket so it would be good to have a kitchenette if you would like to keep food in the hotel. Not sure if they have it as ours did not. We were a family of 4 so it came with 2 single...

"It was a nice room. I thought I booked a canal view but it was street view. The room had some smell once I got inside. But then after I kept the balcony door open for a bit, it was gone and no more smell in the evening. The location is very central. So, I didn’t use any means of transportation, as I walked everywhere. They offer free tea/coffee at the dining area on the GF level. It’s a small boutique hotel. There’s no lift, so, accessibility may be an issue. I’d recommend this hotel. "

"The view from this apt is amazing. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking. The communication in leading up to our stay was minimal. We often had to wait a day or so for simple questions. We had difficulty getting into wifi. Some of this was due to the influx of wifi users visiting the olympics. After the 3rd day we got access but the wifi was not secure. A handbook of how to run various appliances would be helpful (heater, towel bars, etc.) Also we had anxiety each time we used the key for apt access as there seemed no rhyme or reason of how to turn the key (maybe needs to be replaced). On a positive note, I can well imagine how awesome this place would be in the summer with the huge patio and awesome views."

Holiday heaven

"We stayed here a couple of weeks ago. We were met by a lovely lady called myriam who showed us everything on arrival. The place and the views are as stunning as the photos and the area very peaceful. The pool is great and the owners should they be there when you are are lovely and very helpful. There are plenty of walks around the area but too far to walk into annecy itself. There are also plenty of nice places to eat. We didmt get the weather but that is no ones fault would highly recommend and will definately be back walsrecommend "

House 100m2, large garden, 8 min walk from the lake, cycle path

Lovely house in close to the lake

"The house is very nice and spacious and can comfortably fit the family of 4. It has a lovely garden and great bakery near by. Also, there are two major supermarkets a very short drive away. The walk to the lake is about 10 minutes and you can swim there. Sandrine is a very welcoming host who was always ready to answer all our questions. Highly recommend!"

Great value for money hotel...

"Great hotel for families. Friendly owner and staff. Pets friendly. I heard the restaurant is good but we did not book early enough. Good breakfast. The beds are comfortable and the room is designed for utility. Shower and toilets are a bit tiny but you will live. Ask for extra pillows as they only provide a single pillow. The hotel is designed for you to hang out in the pool area and you will be served with drinks. Go for hikes and watersports for the day and come back to enjoy the bar and restaurant. If you have a large van like me, parking might be a challenge but the staff will help you get a spot. Highly recommended and great value for money."

Family Retreat

"My three children and their families traveled Europe in three different direction. This beautiful house in St. Jorioz and Annecy provided a central place to meet, rest, regroup, share our travel experiences, swim, bike ride, hike, shop, laugh and enjoy this beautiful region of France. The house held all 15 of us with ease and the windows all around opened us to spectacular views that allowed our imagination and dreams to soar."
