Stopped for 1night on our way to the Alps. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was good, I think we were lucky to squeeze in as we hadn’t booked ahead. The musicians at dinner were great.

My overall experience staying here was not great, when I arrived I was given a room in the outbuilding which was having renovations done to it, there was plastic along the hallway protecting the carpet from the building work, the radiators were off the wall with building debris on the floor, the hallway was very cold, when I entered the room it was quite tired, there was toilet paper down a dirty toilet with urine stains around the top of the toilet rim! There was mud in the wardrobe that I easily wiped away. I asked at reception if I could change rooms as I explained that I was recovering from pneumonia and the strong smell of paint would have not been good for me, she offered me another room right at the side of this one in the same building which again I explained I was recovering from pneumonia, I asked if it was possible to have a room in the actual chateau, which she then gave me. Such a shame to experience this as I had my lunch at the chateau and had an amazing experience. I will go back to eat in the restaurant it was beautiful.

Amateur de vin ,j’ai spécialement apprécié la possibilité d’acheter de très bons crus. Autrement que ce soit l’accueil ,la chambre ,le calme ,la qualité de la cuisine tout été parfait. Je recommande cet établissement et j’y retourne bientôt.

Vi boede 2 dage på dette skønne hotel. Fik et værelse på 2. sal. Der er ingen elevator. Meget roligt og fin udsigt ud over haven og området. Meget venligt og professionelt personale. Fin restaurant, meget og godt personale. God parkering inde i gården. Der var en god stemning på hele hotellet og det var skønt at sidde i haven efter en dag hvor området var blevet udforsket. Der er mange flotte udsigter oppe over Lac du Bourget. Eneste skuffelse var morgenmaden. Vi havde forventet noget ekstra godt, når nu resten var så fantastisk og den ikke var inkluderet i prisen på opholdet. Den var ikke dårlig, men meget "på det jævne".

Peut mieux faire pour 3*
Ce site est remarquable, bien entretenu, et bénéficie d'une histoire. Accueil à la réception sympathique. Possibilité d'un grand parking secondaire surveillé. Réservation de 2 chambres. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie de qualité. Le lit bébé demandé lors de la réservation manque à notre arrivée. Solutionné dans les 30 mn avec les excuses de la réception. Pas de bar réfrigéré dans les chambres ni de bouteille d'eau, ni autres .... (bouilloire, thé, ...) Éclairage des chambres : faible. Dans la salle de bains d'une des chambres, traces de moisissures sur le joint de tour de la baignoire. Pas de peignoir de sortie de bain dans les chambre. Pour un hôtel 3* : ??? Absence d'ascenseur. Quand vous êtes logés dans les étages avec des escaliers à double paliers, ce n'est pas à la hauteur d'un hôtel de ce classement. Pas d'aide pour monter les bagages. Buffet petit déjeuner minimaliste. Pas digne d'un classement 3*. Tarif trop élevé par rapport à ce qui est proposé. Accueil limite aimable par la personne gérant la salle du petit déjeuner. Placés juste à côté de la machine à boissons et en permanence dérangés par clients venant se servir. Ces machines seraient mieux placées dans la salle du buffet ou se trouvent les tasses et autres ... Cet hôtel veut "paraitre" d'un certain niveau mais n'en a pas vraiment les moyens. Surfe sur l'histoire du lieu et son château. Se trouve légèrement surclassé ce qui impacte défavorablement sa grille tarifaire.
