"My bedroom 109 was I think above the kitchen so heard noises from the kitchen activities. The shower bifold door hinge was broken so the magnetic strips never worked in properly closing the shower doors. The room was comfortable with a single bed and we'll heated. The food was excellent, including the main meals and my 2 breakfasts. The kippers were to die for!...beautiful oily fish... wonderful way to start the day!! I would recommend the hotel and I would come again."

"Hotel room was perfect for a family very comfy beds and pillows, shower was a delight felt like i was getting a massage. Swimming pool was nice but changing rooms and toilets needed cleaning very dirty and run down. Food was very dissapointing and restaurant washy even open on the Tuesday night so had to find somewhere to eat. Breakfast was poor 13.95 for a full english and left a lot to desire for portion size and taste. Had some cheesy chips for lunch that were undercooked and tasteless....

"An ideal base geographically for chosen sight seeing locations along with meeting up with friends. Disappointed that the room was not within the original 17 century building with so much character. I was allocated a ground floor room in a relatively new block at the rear of the property. "Very comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast in an old and well kept pub. The room was very clean, roomy and cosy. Bathroom worked well and had hot water always. The staff were kind and helpful. We had two days where there was no breakfast because it was Christmas and they discounted those two nights but also provided some oatmeal tubs for us and extra bits for the morning which we appreciated. We travel a lot and we feel the value for the room, food and location is excellent. I would stay...
