I spent more than 2 hours with hotels.com support while they tried to contact the property to get me into the room. I also tried contacting the property myself but they did not answer. I did get into the property the next day but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Worst of all, I contacted hotels.com for a refund and they said they cannot do it because...

"The 2 different Receptionist were very amiable. The Cleaner, was also helpful in getting my TV to work. The Shower not so good, as the water did not go down until I’d finished & was out of the cubicle. I therefore had to shower in a tray full of soapy, used, water. Which isn’t very nice. I did report this. But obviously this was as I was leaving ( I was only there the 1night.) "

"Loved the pool, very nice hosts, great breakfast, room was nice, however the description of amenities is not accurate - there was not air conditioning in the room, or is there a restaurant or pool side bar, which left us stuck for lunch when enjoying the pool. We booked a rook with river view but did not receive it. That all being said we did enjoy the place - but just beware or what is not accurate "
