"The Royal is within easy walking distance of the train statio, the Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Museum, Stadium, several arcades, and a wide variety of good restaurants. Our room was very nice with wood floors. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was well organized with a really lovely spacious bath/shower. We appreciated the free early baggage storage prior to check-in. Finally, the staff were very polite and helpful. "

"The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was right by the wharf, and had a beautiful view of the water. It’s close to the city centre, about a 10 minute walk, so that was convenient."

The moving wrap around advert in the bar and restaurant isn’t nice at all and ruins the environment. The staff were lovely and it wasn’t clear that the parking would be an additional cost. "
