"We had an amazing 3 night break. Hotel was clean, comfy bed, beautiful view, lovely food nothing was too much trouble. Great hot indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi… special thanks to Christine for wonderful breakfast service and going the extra mile by sending us the evening menu when we were out and arranging with the chef something that wasn’t on the menu for that evening. Thanks to Jackie for her knowledge of the area and Bella on reception. We will definitely be back but for longer next time."

"Arrived Sunday afternoon. Welcomed by the multi tasking receptionist. Warm and friendly booked in shown to our room. Old timber beams ,great view of buckfast village. Ample tea coffee etc,compact shower and bathroom. Ideal for our needs, good price and a bar with more types of Gin thans good for you, lovely stay"

"I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. "The room was good size , well equipped and comfortable, the shower however was a little disappointing with intermittent hot/cold water The staff were helpful and the pool and spa were fantastic, the best steam room I’ve ever been in Easy accessible to the beach and station All in all a lovely stay "

"Idyllic setting! Very good food. Friendly staff. I had a budget room which was about adequate. TV was so small it couldn’t be watched from bed. There was a motor running intermittently during the night and that was more disturbing because of the otherwise rural silence perhaps with the chuckle of the tributary of the Dart outside my window. "
