"We really enjoyed our stay at Suoi May Resort! It is a family run place with a beautiful pool, large rooms, surrounded by beautiful foliage. It is not in town which is nice as it is more quiet but it’s also not far to get into town (5 minutes by Grab taxi). I thought the breakfast was ok but my husband really enjoyed it. I think having some more staff would really take this hotel up a notch as it has so much potential! We would definitely stay here again though. :)"

Pros: Beach front hotel with a few bungalows offer good privacy, The infinity pool (clean water) is well-positioned with a great view of the sea. "Standard bungalow set in the grounds. Lovely outlook. Quiet except for dogs barking most nights. Bathroom was wet room. The shower was hand held which made washing hair more difficult than if the shower was attached to the wall. Hairdryer could not be plugged in near a mirror so not ideal. The staff all seemed a bit gloomy. Not many smiles. Breakfast was ok. Only one choice of cereal and one choice of fruit juice. But usual choice of fruit, bread, egg station and Vietnamese breakfast...

"what i did not like: room was fine, not crazy dirty but our fridge was completely broken so we couldnt leave any drink or food in there. There is a ceiling light that doesnt turn off so whoever stayed in the room before ducktaped some instant noodle cup label over it to block the light. "We stayed at the Famiana Green Villa and were upgraded to the Famiana Beach Resort and Spa. Both were great places to stay, the staff is very attentive and courteous and the rooms were clean. The Green Villa does not have a beach access, though the beach is a short walk from the hotel. Access to the beach is not hard to find, but the beach you will find is quite polluted with garbage. We were upgraded to the Famiana Beach Resort and Spa for our last two nights because we were told that the Green Villa was overbooked. We did not see many guests at either resort but definitely appreciated the upgrade as we got to enjoy an ocean view at the Beach resort. The staff at both these resorts were so friendly and catered to our every needs. This place is a short taxi ride away from fhe Night Market, has some dining options nearby and we overall enjoyed our stay in Phu Quoc."
