"Excellent staff and lots of activities!"

"Perfectly located in the middle of it all. Go north and you can safari. Go south and you can go to the water park. Use grab taxi to make sure you are getting the right costs. The hotel is fantastic, endless breakfast Buffett. The room service is exceptional, with all The good food offerings of local And western food types. The big control is very good, this area being as hot and humid all year round has tropical byproducts, and there are very little mosquitos to deal with. The pool is a salt water pool, it is very clean. The restaurants are very large and accommodate a lot of people. The walking area is vast with a very neat park system. They have bicycles that are free to use for guests from 7am to 5pm and it helps see the area much easier, however , the more you travel via grab taxi around the island you realize that there is so much brand new construction and empty land not being utilized yet. The southern part of the island where the 8 km cable car and waterpark is located is going to be phenomenal once they are done building it."

"This is a beautiful property. The grounds are stunning with flowers, trees and shrubs making an idyllic setting in front of a beautiful sand beach. Very peaceful. Swimming was great. Staff very friendly with the guests. Casual vibe. Very good breakfast with great views. Great seafood restaurants right down the small street. Pick your fresh fish from the cooler and they grill it for you. Very inexpensive, but good quality and flavors. We also stayed three nights at a more expensive, secluded resort, but liked this one more due to the beach and its more lively surroundings. "

"Too far from town "

"From our enthusiastic welcome to our warm send off, our stay at the Famiana Resort & Spa was superb. From the ever smiling Loc at the front desk, to Tuyet and Diem who were always ready to help and were always so kind, our 21 night stay was beyond excellent. The breakfast staff, without exception, was always friendly helpful and Lehn at the omelette station consistently served up great eggs fried, scrambled or as omelettes. While commenting on food we must say we absolutely loved the beachfront “Sip & Heal Beach Bar” (and restaurant.) We regularly sipped there and every night, while many guests went off property to “enjoy” noisy traffic at nearby restaurants, we opted for tranquil ocean sounds, passing fish boats, stunning sunsets and later the distant green lights of the squid fishing fleet. Oh, and the meals were delicious and very fairly priced. Rooms and housekeepers were wonderful. We had room H215 and we think it was the best room on the property. A minute’s walk leads to the beach chairs, shady palm trees and steps leading to the beach. With ocean wave patterns, the resort maintains the lounging area on higher ground while a wall keeps the ocean at a lower level. Unlike many resorts, we never noticed people “reserving” chairs or hammocks for the day. To stop beach walkers from wandering on to the property and taking over beach chairs the resort’s security staff quickly identified interlopers and moved them along. "We stayed at the Famiana Green Villa and were upgraded to the Famiana Beach Resort and Spa. Both were great places to stay, the staff is very attentive and courteous and the rooms were clean. The Green Villa does not have a beach access, though the beach is a short walk from the hotel. Access to the beach is not hard to find, but the beach you will find is quite polluted with garbage. We were upgraded to the Famiana Beach Resort and Spa for our last two nights because we were told that the Green Villa was overbooked. We did not see many guests at either resort but definitely appreciated the upgrade as we got to enjoy an ocean view at the Beach resort. The staff at both these resorts were so friendly and catered to our every needs. This place is a short taxi ride away from fhe Night Market, has some dining options nearby and we overall enjoyed our stay in Phu Quoc."
