"The Golden Topaz way surpassed expectations! Tom the manager was amazing! The property is exactly as the photos look, just opposite is a great restaurant, then there are 4 others down the road towards the beach. The pool is great, breakfasts are fantastic! I would definitely return! "

"Beautiful beach and gardens. Our room was right outside a water feature so was a lovely sound to wake up to. The beach is cleaner than Long Beach. The restaurant at Mango Bay next door is fantastic. the room was designed with thought and well executed. Comfy bed and pillows. Lovely fruit bowl on the first day. I think overall the hotel itself too many rooms for the facilities provided, you have to queue for breakfast and wait for available tables, there are not enough sun beds etc. Everything in the hotel was quite expensive comparable to outside the hotel would recommend eating elsewhere. "We had a lovely stay here - however a few things could have been better, seating / deck chairs and shade are a major problem. The pool has very limited loungers as does the beach, one day we had to lie on bean bags which was fine but there’s no umbrellas so unless your under a palm tree or want to sit in the sun your sort of stuck for options. For a 5 star resort I would expect a bed and shade! Room was beautiful, breakfast was great - staff were okay, I wasn’t allowed to take a coffee out...

"I thought we booked a apartment style for family of five. Got 2 rooms and paid double price. Instead of 170 it was 270. Then saw it advertised at 40 dollars while there. It was a long way from anywhere. Pool is smaller than pic. Broken showers. Had to use the one by toilet which is up high and goes straight to your towels rack. No hairdryer. Food not great. Mosquitoes everywhere. "

"This is a quiet resort only a few minutes from a nice beach. You will find about ten well rated restaurants within a ten or fifteen minute walk. They serve a nice breakfast, with good options. If your looking for a quiet place to relax, swim and eat lacal food, this us a great spot"

"We loved our stay here. The facilities were exceptional and cannot be faulted. The variety of areas to sit and relax, sunbake, swim etc are fantastic. It is tranquil and relaxing. Rooms a beautiful and everything is luxurious in the rooms. More regular availability to order food and drinks would be great - maybe a QR code ordering system as couches all have numbers. Staff are trying but are struggling to keep up with the demands of the vast number of nationalities that are visiting. A shuttle service out to the varied restaurants and spas as well as the ATM would be fantastic every half hour - that would complete the experience. Overall I would definitely highly recommend this accommodation and we will definitely return. "

"Beatifully managed property, clean and staffs are helpful. Breakfast buffet had good selection and daycare for kids were amazing. Spa was great, pool was amazing. Loved happy hour at the pool side bar and good food decently priced. Wish the pool had more "programs" like aquafit or pool equipments provided for free rather than charge for tube rentals. Overall we would recommend the property to family and friends. "
