"As a family of four with two teenagers, we had a great two week stay at the Elk and Avenue. Staff were helpful. Parking in Banff can be a nightmare. Our vehicle was over the 6' 1" allowance for the hotel car park but we were offered alternative parking at the back of the hotel at a great rate. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Great looking hotel with areas to sit and just chill if needed. Room service was good, no matter what time you left the room. Nice hot tub and sauna. Only downside was the work being done in the lobby rest rooms and interruptions to water. This shouldn't affect people staying in the future though. Highly recommend staying here. "Just left today heading back to Toronto, our stay here was absolutely wonderful. Staff was soooo friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and tidy so I can’t say anything bad. Location was perfect! Would definitely stay here again. It would be great if the hotel could offer coupons for our next stay as I’d love to come back in the summer but from what I’ve heard, summer months are $$$ Anyway, great stay.
