"Stay was for one night, so hotel was well placed and convenient for what we required. Room was on the ground floor and had everything we needed. Lovely modern bar which was open when we returned from our concert in Sheffield."

"Room was comfortable. Breakfast on first morning was good however due to an oven fault on the second morning choice was very limited. Lift wasn’t working when we were leaving which meant having to carry all luggage downstairs from the 3rd floor. "

"Room service offered and was excellent and quick. They supplied bucket of ice for my husband who had knee surgery and needed to ice his knee. Over and above I would say. Food from restaurant was very nice. Hotel only supplies whole milk but when I asked the gentleman at breakfast went above and beyond to get me some semi skimmed which was excellent!! Bar prices are very reasonable. All in all a great stay at the Littleover Lodge! "

"Fantastic location. Refurbished bedroom was fabulous. Some areas of the property are a little tired but undergoing refreshments and so I am Sure will be lovely. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Most staff were friendly and helpful. A couple were brief and seemed liked they would rather be elsewhere, but nothing to put me off going again."

"We only had an over night stay but the staff were very welcoming and friendly, room was clean. We had breakfast in the restaurant next morning before leaving and could not fault anything from the service to the meal itself excellent. "

"We booked the George for a one night stay and it fulfilled all our expectations. The room was a good size and very well furnished (including very quirky wallpaper), the staff were uniformly friendly and efficient and the food (both evening meal and breakfast) was excellent. Highly recommended."

Only criticism was the size of the room which was compact and thin towels in need of replacing. Neither of which would prevent me from returning or recommending it to others."
