"Great location, right in the town centre. Very modern and clean. Easy to control the temperature of the room. Downside: low shower pressure and no parking. A council car park is a minute walk away which is fine but the app didn't work and I had to go and pay again after 6pm in order to pay for the morning. "

"A lovely Inn to stay in historic Hathersage. Small car park that made parking a little tricky at times. Pleasant room overlooking the car park. Bed a little uncomfortable but not a problem. Excellent food and drink in the pub. Breakfast time is limited to 8:30 to 9:30 although they did a slightly later breakfast for us on the Saturday so that my wife could do the nearby parkrun."

"I spent two nights hear so saw lots of different staff and they was all amazing. I had the single room which is probably only a few inches off been a double, so great. I had two evening meals which were both fantastic and also fantastic value for money. But the breakfast is the show stopper for me. If you like a full English you will love this hotel"

"I stayed two nights in Castleton in mid-November amid some early snow which made the village and the walks around the hills stunning. But the real treat came after a long day of hiking when I was able to return to a cozy pub to have a hot meal, a pint of ale and a nice read by a roaring fire.
