"We came to Shrewsbury to travel by train to Cardiff to go to see a rugby match. The Holiday Express was a perfect location. The staff were friendly, the bar and small restaurant were adequate - we had a light evening meal which was good. We stayed 2 nights, the room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfasts were absolutely superb - the best we have had in any hotel. It was also very quiet and safe to leave our car. "

"Room looks amazing, cleanliness is fair. Cleaner do a great job, walls could just do will a touchup of paint. Heating didn't work at through our stay, however there was an electric heater. But to use this would come them a fortune. Service in the bar was friendly and service amazing. Food was fantastic, they also had a great selection of beers for those who like that sort of thing. "Arrived Saturday afternoon for the usual two night stay. Receptionist welcoming, friendly and quick to book are party in Spotless, with all the necessary amenities needed. The only problem was the meal in the restaurant that evening was well below standard, food was just warm and the fish approx 25%fish 75 oily batter. Highly recommend this hotel. Will be staying several times in future. A great break.😁👍 "
