"What a wonderful mini break for my husband and I plus our two little dogs. We stayed at The Fox and were greeted warmly by staff on arrival. Everyone was so friendly. The town was absolutely stunning, gorgeous buildings, quaint shops and pubs. We ate in The Fox on our first night and the food was wonderful and great value for money! Our little dogs enjoyed their stay also and were fussed over by everyone! Highly recommend The Fox if you’re in the area"

The breakfast was excellent, central parking provided and the location is in the heart of Shrewsbury. Rooms had everything you needed. "23A High Street is a timber framed mid terrace cottage with ancient beams exposed inside. It is highly decorated with knickknacks with a hare theme.Knighton is a small very hilly quiet town. I had no difficulty finding free street parking, but spaces are limited. Tom loves to meet new guests, and he allows them free use of his well equipped kitchen. I will go again if there is another log show at Builth Wells (40 minutes drive) "

"Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"

Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold.
