"The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable & despite being on a busy road it was quiet. It’s a creaky building though so if you’re a light sleeper noisy floorboards might annoy you. Check in was easy. I did struggle getting all my luggage up 2 flights of stairs though so don’t bring anything heavy! There were dining options within easy walking distance. Breakfast was great, plenty of options & good quality bacon. The small issue was dealt with swiftly & efficiently. My only little gripes...

"Pleasant hotel well sited and a bargain off-season. Decent car park but could do with a couple of electric chargers. Room was too small to accommodate the amount of furniture, and was so warm that even though it was never hotter than 5 degrees we had the patio door open all the time. "Dartington Hall is absolutely stunning, but, sadly some areas lack attention. We've stayed before, and had the same challenges... We love the place, but.... The bed (again) was like trying to sleep on Brighton beach, the decor is very tired, it could do with some tlc, but, to be fair, it a very old building, the upkeep must be astronomical.. There were no towels, we had to ask for some, Although the shower room is tiny, the water was piping hot (when it eventually comes through) and the water...

"Absolutely wonderful stay! So good we extended for an extra night!! Lovely little indoor pool, lovely spacious restaurant and separate bar/entertainment area. Nice sitting room area with pool table, fruit machines puzzles and boardgames. There's also a television and comfy seating. The staff are all fabulous, altho my son, Archie has asked me to give a shout out to Jamie for being "AMAZING at everything!!" Arch's grandad lives in Paignton and its now "the law" that we stay at the Queens Hotel...
