"Still very basic breakfast although now includes tomatoes and, my favourite, hash browns. However, as breakfast included in room costs, one shouldn't be over-critical! Added bonus was staff politely ensuring all diners had finished before switching off and clearing away. Previously staff switched off equipment 10 minutes before closing without any conversation or warning! Reception staff (sorry didn't get his name) friendly, polite and helpful. Bathroom in our room was especially clean."

"My stay was amazing, the staff were friendly and willing to help whenever asked. My daughter is in hospital in North Manchester General so i didnt actually spend much time at the hotel, however breakfast and evening meal consumed, the sea bass and king prawn linguine was amazing tho it did need seasoning, breakfast was ok, though i like my black pudding sliced thicker that way its crispy on the outside but still soft in the middle allowing you to actually taste it.
