"Beautiful resort. Wish we had stayed longer. Staff everywhere were extremely friendly. We had a a 2nd floor deluxe room which faced the volcano but was partially obscured by a tree. No big deal. Still an amazing view. Food at the restaurant was very good but there wasn't much Costa Rican variety. Pool and the bar were great. My only issue was that they wouldnt exchange any US currency to Costa Rican. Also keep in mind that this resort is about a 20 minute drive from La Fortuna."

"The hotel is just off one of the main roads, not far out of town center. It is not new, but it is clean, quiet and felt safe. We enjoyed two rooms with a small foyer area and a shared bathroom in the center. We also used the public space outside of our room. We sat in the hallway (pictured in the photos) and looked out at the (for us) exotic birds visiting outside.
