"We only stayed one night to go to Rio Celeste Waterfall. It is walking distance 8 min from the Cabinas. We didn't have to pay for parking!! Marjory was very helpful when asked what else can we do in the area. We emailed back and forth before our trip. Marjory set us up with Henry as a night tour. We saw a Tapir!!! "The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Very clean and comfortable house surrounded by the forest. Kitchen is fully equipped. The dirt path towards the house needs work otherwise your car could get stuck. definitely need a 4 wheeler vehicle. We saw monkeys and toucans in the morning. Very calm and quiet stay it was. "Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property - around 5 p.m., it was to discover that, in spite of our reservation, there were no rooms available. The manager/owner was very apologetic for the mix-up and made several calls to secure alternate accomodation for us. However, that was more expensive and we needed to move from one place to another to cover our 4 day stay with 2 nights in each place. It was pretty disappointing!"

"We arrived to breathtaking views of Lake Arenal and the volcano. Over the next couple of days we savored delicious varied breakfasts and a German cuisine inspired dinner that was prepared and customized to accommodate our dietary restrictions.
