"Lift broken down up two floors room very comfortable and well prepared by Susan menu was limited due to the refurb but was very nice the new bar area was very well decorated if the rest of the hotel is going to be of the same standard ?"

"You couldnt get more friendly people and so very nice . . The hotel is a bit dated but very clean . However the beds are way to thin so the sleep was a bit uncomfortable and walls are very thin so was awake at 6am listening to the neighbours radio. Perfect location for our trip.may stay there again"

"I have to mention the outdoor decked area & steps at the top end leading from the car park are an absolute death trap when it’s been raining as it was for us, it’s as slippery as a skating ring "

"Had a wonderful time - hotel adjacent to the cathedral so perfect location. Near lots of restaurants, bars and shops - walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar onsite until 11pm. Communal sitting room. Complimentary water. Continental breakfast included with option of paying for a delicious full cooked breakfast prepared to your liking. Room spacious, lovely and warm, a view of the cathedral a bonus. tea and coffee in room. We parked in a carpark on the hotel’s list, phoned the hotel...

"Great staff, tasty food and breakfast. Only disappointment was the room which needs a little TLC. Bathroom tired, room was quite cold too. Very little soundproofing, could hear everything that was said in room below. Bathrobes a nice touch and comfy beds. Good location though and cant fault the service. "

"Excellent place to stay, quiet, very clean, everything you need, easy parking and superb food ( best breakfast ever - such a choice ). Only concern was no staff are on site between 11:00 and 15:00 - the birthday flowers I'd ordered couldnt be delivered. Overall we really enjoyed this stay "
