Food good however long wait for breakfast service and didnt seem equipped to manage the tables they have due to only 2 staff working and multi tasking at reception. Coffee undrinkable though! Some staff better than others, for example, our cleaning lady (who gave us a great laugh with her towel art!) and Tom at reception who rectified a problem with the heating for us very quickly. "Bedroom was of a good standard, and had all necessary facilities. No areas to be away from dogs staying at the hotel. There were 6 - 8 dogs at each mealtime, which was too much for us, they were fed by the staff, and a doggie accident meant staff cleaning up the poo. "

"I always like staying at the Hatfield. Its been 15 years ive been staying and i just think its a lovely cheerful place to stay. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is good and the service is quick. The rooms are comfortable and warm. It reminds me of how hotels used to be, its like going back in time, in a good way. Well done to all keeping the Hatfield charming and warm."

"Perfect hotel for a quiet getaway. Staff were very accomodoting & friendly.Hotel was great with character in the main building. Great room with all that you need. Only one complaint cobwebs all over the ceiling but totally understand why they were missed as only noticed them at night. Would definatly return."
