Found a cracking one night deal on hotels.com. was alloxated a paryial view sea room with balcony which weve never stayed in before...could see the sea easily. Was a lovely size and clean. We have noticed in our last few stays that tje furniture is getting a little tired but didnt spoil our stay. We had dinner at the Vista bar in the hotel which was lovely and great...

"This hotel has an amazing history and needs to be supported so it can be preserved. Our room was a really good size (triple) and had a separate dressing area. The breakfast was excellent value. The bathroom is due a revamp but was still serviceable. Make sure you check out the piano bar and main stairwells."

"Lovely place, **very** friendly and professional staff and spotless rooms. The restaurant staff were top-notch, and on the night the food was excellent. I have not stopped talking to my friends about the chicken liver pate I had, that was superb. Breakfast was also extremely well cooked and presented, and to top it all up, the prices were reasonable. The free pool/spa/gym was the icing on the cake. My wife and I would certainly recommend it, and we will happily visit again. "
