"The staff were lovely, there were several fast food options nearby. Breakfast was ok and had grab bags so you could grab extra bits to go. The hotel is located in a retail park off the motorway so didn’t seem like there was anywhere to walk nearby but the local town was only a 10 minute drive and had a beautiful park, bakeries and old Tudor buildings. "

"Perfect location as we were going to the Gateshouse Theatre, which was just a few minutes walk. We did eat there and the food was nice. The room was ideal for the evening, the only negative was we couldn't turn the radiator off or down. Staff throughout were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again if we were in the area."

"Clean, spacious room. Good TV at end of bed. Bed very comfortable. Room was warm. Toilet and bath was very clean. Great having a kettle in the room. Shower however was very difficult to use. Shower attachment connected to the bath taps. Temperature whilst showering would repeatedly fluctuate from warm to roasting, then cold. This was the only negative thing. Breakfast was good."

"We had a lovely stay at the Cathedral Hotel. We were travelling with friends and were in Lichfield to visit a restaurant. The hotel is very well placed for a dhott walk into town. The hotel staff were all lovely; very friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a good shower. Whilst we were there, the heating was broken, so we were provided with an electric radiator. This made our room perfectly warm and in fact, none of the hotel felt especially...
