"This is an old hotel, which does need some tlc, however, the receptionist told me the rooms are nearly finished a refurb and whats been done so far is lovely. Our executive double was large, warm and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was served fresh, hot and good quality. Great location. Shame its £9 a night to park but as the accommodation is so reasonable we didnt mind. Much better than many other sheffield hotels."

"Changed rooms due to noisy pipes, but they were very helpful about this. Couldn’t ever get through to anyone at reception. Went down to order good, sent the wrong food! Ate it anyway as was very hungry! It was good. Breakfast was good. "

"An absolute gem of a hotel. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Our room - Trow - was absolutely amazing, huge, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The bar service, restaurant service and food were all first class. We will definitely stay here again when next in the area."
