"We had issues with leaking and didn’t have a sofa or bed for the 2nd night. The lady we’d been in comms with throughout check in and who had been texting us all the rules then totally ignored us. I’ve since been told her phone wasn’t working which I find strange. And then no attempt to make up for a spoilt night away. "We decided to stay at the cabin as it was relatively close to Alten towers. The location was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. On arrival we noticed there was a code lock but hadn't got a code to open the door. I called the owner and she was abrupt and gave me the code. "This is a beautiful quiet cottage finished to a high standard with everything you need for a chilled relaxing holiday.Communication with Ray and Julie was great and the pool was an amazing addition to the cottage.The location is perfect for walking Dovedale 30 mins, Tissington trail 20 mins and the Old Dog Pub which was very welcoming 10 minutes walk.Cannot fault the whole package and would not hesitate to revisit in the future."
