"Our family of three stayed for four nights in the family suite bedroom with double bed and twin bed and separate living room space. Quarters were clean and roomy, AC unit was quiet and effective but only for the bedroom portion. The living room space didn’t have AC but in June wasn’t really necessary and with open windows and a fan it was enough. "Our family enjoyed Hideaway tremendously! The staff, pool, and room were wonderful! We loved the convenience of the dining options and also spotting howler monkeys and iguanas on site. You’re minutes from Playa Carrillo and Samara beach. We didn’t realize it is about a ten minute drive outside the town of Samara though. Highly recommend Hideaway!"

"This hotel is probably the best location in Nosara. It offers a nice, comfortable atmosphere with walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. Alejandro at reception was kind and welcoming, adding to the pleasant experience. The relaxing pool and complimentary coffee were great perks. The only minor drawback was the bed, which was a bit too soft for my liking. Overall, a perfect stay!"

"The property is located a 2 minute walk from the beach. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and shops. None of the power outlets were working in our first room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and immediately accommodated us in the room next door. This is an older hotel with very basic necessities. Overall hotel grounds need maintenance. Especially the pool area. The grass was overgrown underneath the lounge chairs. Personally, it wasn’t for us. Booked a two night stay and ended...
