Today I went for a 2 hour hike at Greenwood Conservation Area in Ajax. It was nice to get one more hike out of Ontario before I move. This park offers a leash free area for dogs, consists of about 5 to 6 trails with the longest one being 2.3 KM. There is an excellent River that runs through the park and the trails are pretty well marked although it's easy to get off them without realizing it. There are several areas to park but the main parking is off of Wesney Road. Parking is free and there is no cost to get into the park. Super clean, lots of picnic areas, a small playground is located in the park and lots of dogs wow! You will make a lot of furry friends here lol!
