"Lovely old world hotel. Nice breakfast. The only fault was we were put in a room at top of the building, 4 landings and 36 stairs. Although elderly we managed but with some impaired mobility it wouldn't be good. Suggested to manager that they put a note on the site for this room booking. It was also a shared bathroom which was my fault for not reading it properly. "

"a great find! Despite the roadworks this hotel was quiet and very conveniently located for the new theatre. We even managed two different circular walks along the canals and rivers in different directions from the hotel. Parking was included as well as a great breakfast. would definately stay again!"

"Overall it was pretty good to be fair, though I think a few things could be improved. The check in was straight forward and you're given a printed sheet to put in the front of the car to cover parking in the pay & display at the rear of the building. The room was small but comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. There were fresh towels and plenty of tea & coffee. The food we had was really nice and fairly priced, and the breakfast was good too. The only complaint I would have with the...
