"Room itself was really quite nice, bed was very comfortable. The walls were paper-thin, so pray for quiet neighbours! The outside bathrooms (in their little outhouses) were a bit odd, just as well it wasn't too cold this weekend else that would have been unpleasant. "OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "I arrived at the property only to be told that it was not a hotel, or guest house or anything but a ‘Retirement Home’! There was no Valentine Inn, never has been and go away. The venue is a con, I think that someone within the place hires out rooms when the manager is scheduled to be away. Kindly refund my payment, you need to remove this from your site."
