Bare concrete walls are not conducive to a welcoming, comfortable stay, no matter what artistic crap reason you give for stinting on the decorating. The lighting was dingy & swallowed by the heavy, dark walls. Coupled with the extremely small size of the room it felt like a prison cell. It's a shame as the bathroom was great & the staff...

"Host friendly and welcoming, greeted me on arrival. Lovely room, very clean, nice decor. Lots of tea and coffee sachets provided. Nice ensuite. Although on a busy road the double glazing on windows kept out all noise. Had a good nights sleep. Would stay again."
