"Just basic like in a tablet ie features of an aircraft but actually serves the purpose of a roof over one’s head and quiet. Booked more nights in the budget tablet hotel as I call it. I will definitely book again wen on a short visit there."

Examples of this include, the flusher for the toilet being broken, the air-conditioning not operating after a powercut and while the rooms are pleasant they could use a rug for the floors as they are quite cold in the morning and if you don’t bring slippers this can be a bit jarring. "It was a very clean room but needed to be freshened up as it was dated. We slept well. Plenty of hot water. Disappointed there was no dining room to eat your breakfast. Tge option was to take it to your room, ours was upstairs so not practical, or eat it in the reception area, only 3 tables! If a lot of people came for breakfast all at once, there was very limited space to serve yourself and little room to eat it! Staff were helpful and friendly."

"Bed was too big for the room. This caused a problem using the toilet/shower, which was designed for an ultra slim body. Tv was fine, kettle, tea, coffee and milk was provided. Bought water for making tea. "

I was in town for an Arsenal match and just needed somewhere simple to rest and freshen up — this place does the job perfectly. The accommodation is basic, but it’s clean and has everything you need if you’re not fussed about frills. One of the standout perks is the free parking in the courtyard, which is a real bonus in London. Breakfast is included too, which is always appreciated. The host is very helpful...

"The staff are lovely and really friendly. Raja was smiley and helpful, which was nice to be welcomed to. They are available 24 hours a day to let you in and out. Absolutely perfect for a quick weekend stop to be in the heart of East London. It'll give a good reflection of hardcore urban living in London. I wouldn't advise my mum to stay there but all good for mates."
