"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. "We loved it here. The resort is amazing. The room was a good size. The view was fantastic. Close to the Yubatake, Kusatsu Gate foot bath, restaurants, and markets. They have a free shuttle to the center of town, Yubatake. Also, a shuttle to the bus stop when you go back. Plus, the free big onsen is amazing. You can also use two other hotels' onsens, but Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Resort's is the biggest and nicest. They provide a yukata for use while you're there, which is nice if you want to take...

"Large lodge within short walking distance of Prince Gondola number 2. My group of 5 stayed in for 2 nights. We had 2 tatami rooms with the wall divider separated to make the room 1 large room. Sleeping arangements were Futons on the floor which we had to unfold and prepare ourselves, but everything was provided in the cupboards. Sinks, toilets are shared with everyone on the same floor but there is plenty to go around for everyone. There is also a mens only and womens only communal bath on...
