But the hotel is clean, the staff is helpful and attentive, the breakfast is fantastic for the price, and it is located literally 100 feet from the train station. It is a budget-friendly option and I think if you're a single person or couple looking for a clean and safe option, this hotel could be what you're looking for. Very pleased with our stay."

The rooms are very nicely equipped, and while slightly small by US standards, they are very thoughtfully laid out. if I could find a room of similar size and layout in the states I'd book it in a heartbeat. "I booked this not knowing anything about traveling in Japan. Figured I’d get to the airport and figure it all out there and found this by the airport and thought it great for the price. And it was! Very clean and plenty of room for 1 traveler. All I needed was a place to lay my head and it was that and then some. The pillow provided was not great but it worked. The only bad thing I could say that really was bad is that the train runs right on top of it. Only noticed when I was awake....

"Overall, the accomodation has very basic offerings. To enter the house, we have to go through the reception to go to the back of the house. The rooms are on 2nd floor so we had to bring the luggages up and down a flight of narrow stairs. Its a problem when the luggage is big and bulky. We stayed here 1 night so it was not a big deal for us. Great for short stays and not for fussy guests."

"I really enjoyed my overnight here in Yuni. It's a small mountain style A frame coffee house connected to a nice corridor with only four rooms, so there isn't a lot of noise from other guests. The rooms were clean and the futons were comfortable. There are some fans to keep you cool, but summers in Hokkaido aren't too hot so it wasn't that big of a deal to not have AC.
