"Generally the property was good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Facilities were just adequate, the shower ran out of hot water after one person then you had to wait half an hour for the next person. Otherwise I was happy with my accommodation. The area Tarona house is in, is pleasant enough however you have to be careful as some dog owners are not diligent and think more of their pet than other human beings. "

"It is nice that my package came with half board. The breakfast is very good. I was just disappointed about how outdated and rough many parts of the hotel look. I stayed on the 4th floor with my family and there is absolutely no WiFi up there, despite the description saying that there is WiFi in the rooms. "Second stay at Shamrock apartments another great stay. So close to all amenities, bus terminal so close, restaurants, shops etc.. hosts are attentive and quick to respond to any enquires. Appartment has everything you could need for your stay. Pool is small but clean. Plenty of sunbeds. Only negative not the appartments fault but a Scottish lady decided to sunbathe topless (which is not allowed) next to my 80 year old father, just because she wanted the particular bed he was using!! "

"We stayed at this apartment for a week. It was perfect. Beautifully decorated with all you need. Would stay there again. We had use of the garage which made parking easier. Finding a parking space can be difficult. The apartment is close to restaurants and bars. Mariella is a lovely lady and was very welcoming. Can’t recommend highly enough. Looking forward to our next trip to Malta "
