Where do I start?! There was nowhere quiet to sit and relax in the evening, the only refuge (the roof patio) was locked for maintenance after the first couple of days. Coming in on one evening there was a full-blown disco going on in the main reception/sitting area. The elevators were out of service for several days, we were told to use the service elevator and shared it with laundry several times. The queue for breakfast started with waiting to be sat at a table, then more queuing for each of the food bars. It was still being handled as if Covid restrictions applied and instead of being help-yourself it was dished out by a busy server behind the covid panels. I had to ask 3 times for a lightbulb for my night light - seriously unhappy to be ready to drop off to sleep only to have to get out of bed to turn the main light off. No hair drier, drawers or anywhere to put my suitcase in my room. The bed was up against walls on 2 sides so all entry/exit to the bed was via one side which dipped alarmingly where it had been used so much. Tiny window with frosted glass, so the room was constantly dark. The heating was only effective after it had been on for ages and the bathroom never benefitted. It was awful.
