"We had to travel at very short notice after a family member was involved in an accident. Hotel was very pleasant and welcoming, and seemed very modern. Staff were excellent and the room was spotless and comfortable. It's in the town so traffic was audible with the balcony door open, but almost silent with it closed. Bed and facilities excellent and clean. Aircon worked well and kept things bearable. Quick and quiet lifts to all floors, even to the rooftop swimming pool and bar on floor 10! Staff really couldn't do enough for us to support our needs, and I'd give a special mention to receptionist Andrea, who was always there, and always had time for us. She deserves promotion, but please make sure she's still there when we return... maybe next year!"

"The hotel itself was amazing. Should definitely be rated 5* instead of 4*. The chicken is halal at the resturant even though was told meat and poultry wasnt when i emailed the hotel before booking. This should be communicated more with staff. The food itself was great and accomodating as they has pizza chips and different types of pastas everyday. They have a section for kids too. Location is a luttle away from centre of malta but i knew this before booking. Pool and surrounding areas are cleaned and immaculate. Its great that they have a heated pool inside as weather was a little chilly for the pool outside. Views from rooftop bar is amazing. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend if you want to be away from the hustle and buslte."

"Overall experience was good. We was on the 8th floor which was executive floor with sea view. There was one big downside to this which was the dining area was directly above so we was woke up at 6:30 every morning when it was being set up. We did complain and they was very quick to move us which was good! "

"We stayed for three nights at the Mayflower hotel. It's ideally cited to access the buses to travel about, or Bolt/Uber if a cab is wanted. There are lots of good restaurants and bars within a short walk. The entrance is welcoming and spacious with seating areas and the usual tour desk, but we didn't go on any tours as our primary visit was to relax. The room was perfectly comfortable with plenty of space and we really enjoyed the sky deck and breakfast! The sky deck is a calm place to relax with views over the surroundings 360! It was a bit too chilly for us to go into the infinity pool but other people did. The breakfast is first class! Lots of variety and very well presented. It's replenished frequently and the staff are very quick to clear and clean tables. Other reviews had made a point that the food was not very hot, but there's a microwave for guests to use so this has been addressed. The management clearly read reviews! The staff are all friendly helpful and polite. The general upkeep is very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel! "
